We are looking for an experienced and skilled VP of Product Management to lead the team and drive the product roadmap, including prioritization of features when needed.  In this role, you will need to understand competitive positioning in the market, define appropriate internal processes and procedures, delve into the customer use cases of HYAS products and solutions, and work with Sales and Marketing to explain the use cases to our customers and the wider ecosystem.

As a player/coach, you will lead a small team that is responsible for the roadmap and feature requirements of all HYAS products and solutions, including the development and release of new products. To be successful in this role, you will need to understand the wider cyber security market and how HYAS products compete against legacy approaches, as well as how HYAS products integrate with, complement, and extend the existing solutions installed across our customer base. You will be responsible for prioritizing the features and requests from both internal and external sources, and you will be responsible for articulating the products and the roadmap to the sales and marketing teams, as well as external partners and customers.


Through collaboration with the CTO, you will understand and drive the vision of how these products should evolve in the future. Job location can be remote in the United States or Canada; preferred locations are Vancouver, B.C., N. California, S. California, Denver, or Austin, but all locations are encouraged to apply.



Responsibilities:


- Build incredible teams and processes to deliver products that satisfy the needs of customers;


- Monitor product development sprints, evaluate results, and recommend process improvement changes as required to drive predictability, efficiency, and efficacy;


- Own and maintain the product roadmap and communicate the roadmap and changes to it with C-level staff, board members, the wider market, and other stakeholders;


- Work with Sales and Marketing to help drive the right external messaging of solutions, use cases, and products;


- Define pricing and competitive positioning for each product;


- Drive innovative ideas, solutions, and products through leadership and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders;


- Provide direct feedback on both core values and work product;


- Evangelize and excite our customers, the wider market, and internal stakeholders;


- Build strong relationships with internal peer organizations;


- Develop strong collaborative relationships with customers and ensure we have direct customer input when building products;


- Develop budgets, forecasts, and metrics.



Requirements:


- Proven experience in the cyber security industry


- Demonstrated product management experience leading teams in a SaaS or subscription enterprise software company


- Proven experience leading teams, driving software adoption and leveraging customer success best practices


- Proven ability to develop strategies, translate them into initiatives and track successful delivery


- Possess a strong management presence and leadership ability, with communication and interpersonal skills that inspire and motivate leaders and teams


- Demonstrated operational excellence in analytical thinking, process development and improvement, problem solving, communication, delegation and planning


- Able to be flexible and agile in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity


- Able to collaborate across the organization and with both internal and external stakeholders


- Experience successfully working with senior (C-level) executives


- Holds strong operational skills that will drive organizational efficiencies and customer satisfaction


- Excellent creative problem-solving skills


- Strong verbal and written communication skills


- The ability to travel if and when needed



Preferred:


- While not strictly required, the ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of DNS and computer networking
